The Legendary Manchester Busker was the name given to a series of small theatre shows promoted by CC/Brickwall, seen in and around Greater Manchester from it's debut on 17th April 1988 to the mid 1990's. The format comprised of as many acts as possible, all playing for free, crammed into a rollercoaster line-up, each capturing through original music, comedy, and performance, the spirit of the 'Manchester Busker'.
It was pretty legendary in it's own rights back in the day, however the relevance of the show has become of particular interest as we look back at the history, and see with great intrigue how the lives and careers of those 'busking' pioneers have progressed.
Furthermore, we share tributes to Bryan Glancy, Hovis Presley, Ian Stanton and Linda Smith, sadly are no longer with us.
