Manchester Busker 20th Anniversary Show:

5 hours and 20 minutes of magic, music, passion, y'know ...

The bar ran out of virtually everything worth drinking by 9pm

Everyone was absolutely brilliant

and some

I thought that with age, the show would get shorter, not longer ... maybe it just takes us longer to get on and off stage these days

Chris almost had a rant, but appears to have mellowed a little Wink

The answer? It was the best.

What a fabulous, fabulous night! I saw people I hadn't seen for over 20 years come together for the most life-affirming, enriching, bewitching, magical and beautiful night I have had since, well, I can't remember but it was probably that last one I played at. A night of great performances that will live with me forever.

What talent! What atmosphere! What performances! What ambience! There is nothing else like this on the planet.

Chris Coupe; you are one great soul. Thanks for everything, mate.

Darren Poyzer, your version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart" with the wonderful John Ellis will stay with me forever. My heart ached: You made history last night.
